Jack had been in business for over ten years, and for most of that time things had been going well and the business had grown. But now, for some reason Jack was lost and didn’t know what to do to get his business to the next level.
He found himself in a lonely place, not knowing what to do. In business, things change all the time. Perhaps things will improve.
But deep down, Jack knew he had to do something differently to make a change.
He took himself to a coffee shop, sat down and tried to clear his head.
On a table to his right sat a smartly dressed woman drinking a cup of Earl Grey tea. She looked up and considered him.
“I hope you don’t mind me asking – but, you’re looking a little anxious”, said the woman, “I feel, you’re about to make a decision that could possibly change your life”.
He was taken aback and a little curious, and asked her why she might say that.
She replied that it was her business to help those who felt stuck in their ability to move forward – in life generally, but in business particularly.
She turned to the man and said, “If you’d like to discover what it is you should do next, I may be able to help you. I have a plan.”
Jack took a moment to reflect on the possible reasons for why he felt the way he did, but he didn’t see a way to solve his sense of confusion and frustration himself?
The woman turned to the man and asked, “Do you want me to help you?”
Jack could easily pass on this offer of help, however, his lack of vision would surely affect how his business moved forward. His business may easily fail.
But, by asking for help – he just might find himself on the road to a new and different success.
