Businesses are formed to deliver a product or service they believe customers will want.

Businesses are often created from a proprietors perspective. They have a vision of the service or product they want to deliver and they want to do that in their way.

How often to we explore what it is our customers actually want? If it’s a product, how do they want it delivered? What service or care comes with it? Is the product just sent, and that’s it!

If your business delivers a service – does it serve the customer’s needs completely? Is there a part of the service that’s missing? Is there something extra that you’ve missed?

These questions point to addressing what the customer actually wants.

The more we know what the customer wants the better our story can be, putting them centre stage and the hero of any marketing campaign.

If you want to directly engage with your customers you need to know what it is they care about and want.

By defining what your customers actually want, you’ll be better positioned to give a preferred product or service.

What questions would you ask your customers?
